I would have guessed that most of those things were things you enjoyed. Although I don’t like crickets, toads, frogs or birds. I don’t think I like gardening because I don’t like dirt. I do like loud music however. Fun times. Thanks for sharing.

My favorite parts of Spring are: sunshine (longer days), rain, the smell of fresh air (no allergies here! sorry Ryan), opening the windows, Robins (it’s a bird), Sounds of – crickets, toads and frogs, birds chirping; playing in the dirt (gardening – except I think I have arthritus now and my joints hurt), driving with the windows down and playing my music LOUD!
My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall.

That’s really good Jeff. I think we all feel that way that God will slow us down if we don’t slow down. The key is simply finding a few minutes a day.

Nicely put blog post. The hardest thing to do sometimes is to be still and listen. Sometimes I fear that if I don’t purposefully be still, God might bring something that will make me be still! Even for a few moments a day, trying to find that “stillness” is key.

Yeah but that process has stopped quickly as I am reading Visioneering by Andy Stanley and it is pretty much kicking my butt. I’m in chapter 6 and it is already one of the top 5 books I have read.

I’m not blocking you Betty…not yet. Those are good. I fear falling from heights as well. That’s interesting that you do not fear finding God’s true purpose and will for your life because that is what most people struggle with. Good thoughts…thanks for the input.

I fear that one day you may block me from commenting on your blog. My 3 biggest fears: 1) fear of fallinh 2) fear of heights if I might fall 3) fear of anything creepy, crawly, furry, or reptile aside from typical domesticated animals

I do fear not finding God’s true purpose and will for my life. I wonder how many times have I taken the detour rather than God’s path for me.
