25 Days Of Christmas_Day 15
There are some decorations when you seem them they almost take your breathe away because they are incredible and you appreciate the time and effort that went into the design. Then there are those that when you look at them they take your breathe away because they are incredible in a different way and you wonder, why would they do that? Or why would someone put that much time and effort into that design?
How much is too much? Have you cut back because of the economy? Do you go out looking for lights that are out at night?

Decorations can be so much fun to put up at Christmas and they can also cause someone to have a near nervous breakdown. I personally like to put up everything right after Thanksgiving so I can really enjoy it for about 6 weeks as we take down around New Years Day. The problem is I never put them away in such a manner that it is easy to take back out and put up the next year. I usually will spend an hour finding everything and another hour dealing with lights. Another hour is spent putting the hooks on the ornaments and another hour is spent unraveling the green stuff. An hour or two is spent adjusting the branches on our fake tree but that is better than Jess having to hold the tree up for 2 hours a couple years ago because it fell over and she was pregnant and she had to pee. Oh the memories.
What are some of your holiday decoration memories? Any horror stories? Hospital room visits?
Below is a picture of a guys holiday decorations at his house. Read the story behind it, very funny.

“Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down.
First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.
Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.”
