Top 10 Reasons I Deserve A Raise by Toby Rowe

10.  Don’t worry…I’ll still be at or below poverty level.

9.  My picture was featured on a poster about people who live on $1 a day.

8.  The IRS audited me last year due to “flagrant UNDER-REPORTING:

7.  “Other duties as assigned” is now eating into my 5 hours of sleep each night.

6.  If I got a raise, I could quit one of my other 3 jobs.

5.  Le me switch jobs with the senior pastor, and he’ll explain it to you within a week.

4.  I would make more if I just charged child care rates fro all the “baby-sitting” I do.

3.  Retreats, mission trips, and lock-ins bring my hourly wage down to $2.35.

2.  Despite my annual youth pastor’s greeting card shower, a more tangible reward would be really nice.

1.  The custodians blamed all the mess on me.  You made me clean it up, then gave them a raise.  What’s up with that?
